Weak, mushy conditions across the Southeast this morning with everything checking in at ★1 — the cleanest looks are at Avalon Pier and Carolina Beach where offshore SSW winds are at least grooming the ankle-to-knee-high lines, and Duck Pier has cross-offshore flow if you want to stretch a bit further. Hatteras and Avon have the most size at 2-plus feet but that SE swell direction is closing out more than sectioning. No meaningful change on the horizon over the next few days — hold steady at marginal, save your energy for the next swell.
