Conditions are pretty average across the Washington coast this morning — everything's sitting at a 1-star rating with short-period WNW swell keeping things choppy and gutless. Cape Disappointment and Ocean Shores have the lightest winds and some cross-shore flow making things slightly more manageable, but nobody's getting excited. The good news is swell is building through the next 24-48 hours, with Cape Disappointment and Long Beach picking up nearly two feet — if a longer period fills in behind this windswell, the weekend could get interesting.
