Rodanthe leads the OBX this morning at ★1.5 with 4-foot sets at 8 seconds, though onshore flow is keeping things junky across the board — winds are light and mostly onshore or cross-onshore throughout the region. Atlantic Beach is technically offshore but the waist-high slop isn't worth the drive. Conditions hold steady through the next couple days with no significant improvement on the horizon, so unless a surprise swell fills in, expect more of the same weak, wind-affected surf through the weekend.
