Slim pickings across the Southeast this morning — everything's sitting at ★1 with onshore to cross-shore winds pushing choppy, short-period energy from the east. If you're determined to paddle out, Avon Pier and Cape Hatteras have the most size at nearly 4 feet, and the northerly winds there are running cross-offshore, which is at least something. Don't get your hopes up for the next few days though — the trend is fading, so expect conditions to keep backing off through the week.
