Small and scrappy across the Northeast this morning — everything's sitting at ★1.0 with ankle-to-shin-high surf on short periods, barely worth waxing up. Short Sands and Coast Guard Beach have the cleanest looks with offshore/cross-offshore flow, but we're talking fun-sized at best. The good news: swell is building across the board over the next 24 hours, with Higgins, Gooch's, and Old Orchard showing the most gains — keep an eye on Maine through the next couple days as this thing fills in.
