Conditions are underwhelming this morning with short-period, wind-affected surf coast-wide — Pacific Beach, Rialto, and Shi Shi are your best bets at a modest 1.5 stars, where lighter cross-shore winds are keeping things marginally cleaner than the blown-out mess at Cape Disappointment and Long Beach. Period is stuck at 9 seconds with mostly onshore or cross-onshore flow taking the punch out of what swell there is. The good news is swell is building over the next 24 hours, so expect improving size and potentially better ratings through midweek if the wind cooperates.
