Conditions are pretty scruffy across the board this morning — everything's sitting at 1 star with short-period WNW windswell and choppy surfaces at most spots. Your best bets are La Push Third Beach and Second Beach, where light northerly winds are holding cross to offshore and the swell is nudging toward 3-foot-plus; still only a 1-star day, but cleaner than the alternatives. Good news is the trend is building over the next 24 hours, so expect faces to fill in over the next couple days — worth keeping an eye on La Push and Rialto as this swell develops.
