Pretty lean out there this morning — short-period WNW swell is pushing 4 feet up and down the coast but that 8-second period keeps things gutless and disorganized, with every spot checking in at a 1-star day. Cape Disappointment and Rialto have the lightest cross winds if you're desperate enough to paddle out. Conditions are fading through tomorrow and the next couple days don't show much relief, so unless a new swell materializes, this stretch of Washington coast is better enjoyed from the beach.
