Sloppy morning across the Northeast with everything fading — the Cape spots lead the pack at a modest ★2 with Nauset, Marconi, and Nantucket seeing 3-4ft at decent period, but NNE winds are cross-onshore and killing the shape. Rhode Island's offshore/cross-offshore flow at Misquamicut, Second Beach, and Weekapaug is cleaner but the short-period ESE windswell isn't doing much, keeping those at ★1.5. Expect conditions to slide further over the next couple days as this swell drains — keep an eye on later in the week if any new energy fills in.
