Outer Banks is seeing 3-4ft of E swell at 8 seconds this morning — rideable but nothing to write home about. Avon Pier, Nags Head Pier, and North Buxton lead the pack at ★2.5, with Avon getting the best of it on a cross-offshore north wind; most other spots are already onshore and losing their shape. Swell fades through the next 24-48 hours, so expect conditions to drop off heading into the next couple days — keep an eye out for any new energy building later in the week.
