Hatteras is firing this morning with Avon Pier, The Point Buxton, and North Buxton all sitting at ★4.5 on solid east swell around 11 feet at 11 seconds — cross winds from the NNE are keeping it manageable down there. Further north toward the OBX, conditions drop off a bit with spots like Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head rating ★3.5 as the wind goes more cross-onshore. Swell is still building through the next 24 hours, so expect things to keep filling in over the next couple days before the energy eventually backs off.
