Good energy up and down the OBX this morning with 12-second E/ENE swell filling in, though models are showing these as estimates so take the heights with some salt. Best bet is Kitty Hawk Pier (★4) with cross-offshore northerly wind keeping it cleaner than most; Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (★3) is also worth a look with true offshore flow. Swell is fading through the next 24 hours and that trend looks to continue into the next couple days, so get it while it's still going.
