Mediocre conditions across the Gulf this morning with model estimates showing 2–3ft swell at 7–8s from the E/SE — not much to get excited about, but South Padre, Isla Blanca, and Port A are the pick of the bunch at ★1.5, with lighter NNE cross-winds keeping things cleaner than the windier Galveston spots. Swell is building through the next 24 hours, especially down the southern Texas coast where models show over a foot of gain. Expect marginal but slightly improved conditions over the next couple days if that trend holds.
