Ala Moana Bowls is a beach break on Oahu's South Shore facing north, oriented at approximately 20 degrees. It picks up swells from the NW through N and N through E windows, with a north swell being optimal. The break prefers low tide, and offshore winds come from the south at around 200 degrees.
