Sunset Beach Hawaii is a northwest-facing beach break that picks up swells from a wide window spanning northeast through east, southeast, south-southwest, west, and northwest to northeast, with an optimal swell direction from the north. It prefers mid tide conditions and goes offshore with southeast winds.
