Scrappy conditions across the Gulf this morning with everything sitting at a 1-star rating — short-period windswell, onshore to cross-onshore winds, and nothing worth driving far for. Bob Hall Pier and Port Aransas Jetty have the most size at around 2 feet, but that 6-second period keeps it weak and mushy. Expect things to fade further through tomorrow and into the weekend, so unless something new fires up in the Gulf, it's a flat spell ahead.
