Swell is on the way out across the Outer Banks — Rodanthe is holding the best of it at ★2 with 4.4ft at 10 seconds and a helpful cross-offshore SSW breeze, while Avon and Oregon Inlet check in at ★1.5 but winds are less cooperative. Expect conditions to fade noticeably through the day as faces drop 2-4 feet across the board. The next couple days look lean while this swell bottoms out, so keep an eye on the models for the next setup.
