Slim pickings across the Gulf this morning — everything's sitting at 1-star with waist-high or smaller, short-period SE windswell that's already fading. Best of a bad bunch is Galveston (61st Street and Seawall, ★1) where light WNW winds are at least offshore, keeping it marginally cleaner than the cross-onshore mess down at Mustang Island and Port A. Trend is down through the next 24 hours, so don't expect improvement — looks like a flat stretch ahead for the next couple days unless a new swell organizes.
