Knee-high mush across the Texas Gulf today — everything's checking in at ★1 with short-period windswell that's more splash than surf. Best bets are the Galveston spots and JP Luby where cross-offshore northerlies are at least keeping faces clean, while Port A and Horace Caldwell are already seeing onshore flow kill what little shape there is. Conditions hold steady through the next few days with no meaningful swell on the horizon, so unless something spins up in the Gulf, it's a good week to wax your skimboard instead.
