Small and mostly forgettable out there this morning — everything's sitting at 1 star with ankle-to-shin-high runners on short period SE swell. Your best bets are the OBX spots with offshore flow: Avalon Pier, Jennettes Pier, and Kill Devil Hills are all getting light SW winds keeping faces clean, even if the waves themselves aren't much to look at. Good news is things are building — expect another foot or so through tomorrow and into the weekend, so keep an eye on the OBX as this fills in.
