Pretty slim pickings across the Northeast this morning — everything's sitting at a 1-star rating with ankle-to-knee-high surf and not much punch. Wind is light and offshore to cross-offshore at most spots, so at least the faces are clean; Maine's Higgins and Old Orchard are the tidiest with NNW flow, while the Cape spots like Nauset and Marconi have a touch more size but nothing worth rushing for. Conditions hold steady through the next few days, so don't expect a rescue anytime soon.
