Small E/ESE swell is running 3-4ft at 9 seconds across the Outer Banks this morning, with the best conditions up at Avon, Hatteras, and The Point where you're picking up the most size — all sitting at a modest ★2. Winds are cross-offshore to cross at most spots, which is keeping things reasonably clean, though Oregon Inlet and Hatteras are getting a little messy with stronger southerlies. Expect this to fade through the day and into the next couple days as swell energy backs off — not much juice on the horizon to replace it.
