Hatteras Island is holding a fun little E swell this morning — around 2.5ft model estimate at 9 seconds — with Duck Pier standing out at ★2.0 thanks to that cross-offshore SSW flow, while Avon, The Point Buxton, and North Buxton are also sitting at ★2.0 with light onshore already creeping in. Winds are mostly light and onshore across the region, so get out early. Swell looks steady through the next couple of days, so expect more of the same — nothing pumping, but rideable if you're not picky.
