Small and forgettable across the OBX and Crystal Coast this morning — everything's checking in at ★1.0 with waist-high or less surf and short periods. Best wind texture right now is at Avalon Pier, Duck Pier, and Corolla, where WSW flow is running offshore or close to it, but there's nothing worth a special trip. Conditions hold steady through the next couple days with no significant swell on the horizon, so unless something surprises us, it's a flat stretch ahead — good time to wax the board and wait.
