Conditions are pretty forgettable across the OBX and Carolina coast this morning — small, weak ESE windswell with onshore winds keeping things messy at most spots. Best of a bad bunch goes to Frisco Pier and Avon Pier (both ★1.0), where the slightly longer-period ESE swell has a bit more push, and Carolina Beach is seeing light offshore flow if you want the cleanest surface. Good news is the trend is building over the next 24 hours, so check back tomorrow as size fills in and hopefully winds cooperate.
